I would like to thank langacademy for devoting this forum for a specific course on different kinds of translation that are already being given to postgraduate students of translation in Cairo University. Once my dear students have all registered, we will launch an online practice of both literary, sight and semi-consecutive translation. Of course all other members of this wonderful forum are most welcome to join our discussions and should they need help on translation-related issues, I would be more than willing to offer help.

I also encourage my students to offer help to other members of this forum who need help on any other fields of the English language--be it language issues or advice on a particular field of knowledge. Needless to point out that we are here as guests who should pay careful attention and due respect to the rules, or rather ethics, or this forum...

Well, actually there will be exercises on translation--a kind of an activity for those who wish to learn more about the world of translation as theoretically and practically applied on a diploma level. Of course, any comments, or suggestions will be highly appreciated.
